I am really excited that Hobby Master will be releasing what many aviation fans affectionately know as "Jester's plane", the camouflaged A-4 Skyhawk TOPGUN Adversary.  This is a must have!  Look forward to August!

The "Pantastic Phantom," one of the most beautiful military fighter airplane ever made.  Looks great on the ramp and even better in the air, from any angle.  I have all the HM Phantoms in my collection and no one does them better...

Great Phantom Phootage Matt;

I like the way the video showcases Navy, USAF and foreign Phantoms.  The F-4 truly is in a class on its own as a combat aircraft.  By the way, Vietnam eventually proved Navy Phantoms were the best in combat, once the Navy figured out the F-4 was a hard charging dogfighter rather than a radar missile toting interceptor.  Your dad certainly did his part in creating and maintaining the Phantom legend.

Thanks again,

That is just a mean looking plane! My father was a jet mechanic in the Navy and worked on the Phantom! With all of the talk of the F-4 I thought I would post a tribute video on the page for a few days.

Enjoy,

Matt

Outstanding. Fantastic pictures. How can anyone not admire them lines. Thats how an aircraft should look like.

I can only share your opinion.

The F-4 was one of the highlights in the air.

Here some pictures of the Fly-Out at the 74th Fighter Wing in 2008.

Today you can only see some guest from 71st Fighter Wing at Neuburg.

They are flying the last F-4's in Germany.

Reagrds,

Robert

I think that if the F-4 isn't someone favorite it definitely would be in their top 5 favorites.

Yes, what a waste. Gate Guardians I can understand, but target tugs and drone's, no. Century Wings are pricey, but well worth. You pay for what you get. Century Wings SR-71's, outstanding. I've two in my collection, love to have them all but like you said, the price. I will have them all though eventually. Welcome to the club skysurfer. I haven't been a member long, but what I've seen I've liked. I hope you do too.

The F-4 phantom is a favorite of mine, and Hobby Master does a great job with their models.  Century Wing's Tomcats and Crusaders also are great models, though at a higher price point,  However the F-4 will always have a sentimental place in my heart due to childhood memories watching them blast off from Hickam AFB and Kaneohe MCAS back when 4 squadrons of them were stationed in the islands.  Its funny too that the Air Force is bring them back as gunnery target tugs.
